Turn based RPGs have good stories, but I find them super annoying because of how long spellcasters take in doing anything!

I'll guive you that but that only applies to the turn based games that have that setting. And besides it may not take long in real time but once any unit gets close to them they get slaughtered. Which cannot be said for turn based in which you can keep an eye on everything without being overwhelmed. Although I have to admit crushing an opponents base is more fun in real time than turn based
